What is Documint and how does it work?
Documint is a web-based document automation tool that lets you connect your data source to a template and automatically generate PDFs. You design a template once, map your data fields, and Documint merges the data with the template and generates the PDF.
How do you generate automated PDF documents from Notion or Airtable using Documint?
To generate automated PDFs from Notion or Airtable, follow these three steps: 1. Connect Data Source: Link your Airtable base or Notion database to Documint using native integrations or API keys. 2. Map Template Fields: Create or choose a Documint template and bind dataset variables (like client name, line items, dates) to corresponding fields in your database using visual token formatting. 3. Trigger Generation: Set up a trigger—such as an Airtable button click, automation script, or Make/Zapier workflow—to instantaneously merge records into formatted PDF documents saved back to your database or sent via email.
Does Documint include built-in e-signatures?
Yes, document automation with native e-signatures is a core feature of Documint. Unlike Docupilot, which requires you to integrate and pay for external third-party e-signature software, Documint allows you to automatically generate, send, and securely sign contracts and agreements within a single, unified platform.
Can Documint be embedded directly into custom SaaS applications?
Yes. Through Documint Embed and a developer-friendly REST API, SaaS teams and software platforms can run the full template design and document generation engine directly inside their custom software interface for native end-user workflows.
Do you offer enterprise support?
Yes — enterprise plans include dedicated support, SSO, audit logs, and custom SLAs.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every new account gets a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
