What is the Documint and OttoKit integration, and how does it work?
The Documint and OttoKit integration allows users to automatically generate customized PDF documents whenever an event occurs in OttoKit workflows. OttoKit acts as the automation trigger, sending structured data into Documint, where it is dynamically populated into pre-designed templates using custom field schemas, dynamic tables, and Google Fonts. The generated document can then be emailed, stored in cloud platforms, or sent for e-signature via Documint Sign.
How do I show or hide content dynamically in a Documint template based on OttoKit data?
You can dynamically display or hide sections in your template using Documint’s built-in Display Rules. By setting conditional rules on specific layout or content elements, sections will only appear in the final generated PDF when incoming data from OttoKit meets defined criteria (e.g., displaying a specific enterprise SLA clause only when deal value exceeds $\$10,000$).
Can I collect electronic signatures on documents generated through OttoKit?
Yes. Documint includes Documint Sign, a native e-signature capability that allows you to collect legally binding e-signatures directly on generated PDFs without requiring third-party tools. You simply drag and drop e-sign elements (signature placeholders) onto your document template. Once OttoKit triggers document creation, Documint handles sending and signature collection natively.
